Your computer falling into the wrong hands is a frightening prospect—that is, if the data it contains is unprotected. MySecureDoc Personal Edition PLUS offers complete protection for every byte of data on your computer. The product is designed for the home office user using WinMagic’s unique, token-based, NSA-certified disk encryption technology.

Professional Strength Encryption
MySecureDoc Personal Edition PLUS uses the same FIPS 140-1 Level 2, FIPS 140-2 Level 1 & 2, validated cryptographic engine as WinMagic’s Corporate Edition. It incorporates the AES 256-bit encryption algorithm issued by the National Institute of Standard and Technology, and is scheduled to achieve the Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level 4 (EAL-4) certification in late 2007.

Full Hard-Disk Protection
While most products encrypt only the volume(s) or partitions in-use, MySecureDoc Personal Edition PLUS encrypts the entire hard drive including the residual data, temporary files, paging files, clear text, and hidden partitions. Therefore, no sensitive or personal information like credit card or bank information is exposed to prying eyes.

Password Protection
Intruders are foiled from the start by pre-boot authentication. A password must be entered before access to the operating system is granted. MySecureDoc interrupts the boot process at pre-boot to ensure that unauthorized users do not gain access to the hard drive, including the operating system.

System Recovery
In the unlikely event of system corruption, SecureDoc provides an emergency disk to recover the SecureDoc disk space and restore the boot image of the hard drive.

Transparent and Fast Operation
SecureDoc is much faster than typical encryption solutions. Fast decryption/re-encryption is performed on the fly and behind the scenes. You won’t even notice it’s running.

Hassle-free System Maintenance
Unlike other encryptions products, it is not necessary to decrypt your hard drive before installing Microsoft Service Packs. Our goal at WinMagic is to ensure that your hard drive performs exactly the same post-encryption has it did pre-encryption.

Removable Media Protection
MySecureDoc Personal Edition PLUS comes with removable media encryption support to protect your removable USB hard disks, USB sticks, and SD card. Our MediaViewer will allow you to see encryption data even on PC’s without MySecureDoc.
