How does disk encryption work?

MySecureDoc™ encrypts the ENTIRE disk. Most competitors only encrypt the partitions that are being used on a hard-drive, leaving unencrypted spaces between partitions, at the beginning and the end of the hard-drive. This may cause viruses to spread between partitions and drives. MySecureDoc™ protects all your data including the residual data, temporary files, paging files, and hidden partitions. The product encrypts and decrypts data behind the scenes and in real-time; users will not even notice the process taking place.

However, MySecureDoc™ has the ability to be an “install and forget” solution—install it once and everything takes place behind the scenes with very little fuss or muss.
